Pass - To elect not to play a hand.
If a player faces a bet and chooses not to continue in the hand, he passes and gives up his cards. Saying "pass"
is another (more eloquent) way of saying, "I fold".
Almost all successful players are going to pass more often than they are going to play. Even if you pass, it is very
important to pay attention to what is going on in the game. A lot of information can be obtained by observing physical
actions (tells) of players involved in a
hand as well as noticing when a player loses a big pot or gets sucked out on.
