Side Pot - An additional pot which is created when one or more players are all in.

When a player runs out of chips in the middle of a betting round, they are “all-in.” This means that their hand is live but the can only win the bets that they can cover. Often, this requires the construction of a separate “side-pot.” The all in player may not win any money from the side pot because they have not contributed towards it. If several players go all in on the same hand, several side pots may be necessary. To avoid confusion, at the end of the hand, the side pots are awarded in the reverse order that they were constructed in. In other words, the last side pot to be created is the first to be awarded, with the main pot being awarded last.
