Spread limit - A type of game with an established minimum and maximum bet. Players may bet any amount within these limits.
A spread limit game is a limit/no-limit hybrid. In a limit game, the betting is structured and the player generally has
no choice about how much to bet. If a player wants to bet in a limit game, they must bet the structured amount. In a no
limit game, the betting is unstructured; only the lower betting limit is defined. It is usually the amount of the big
blind. This means that in a no-limit game, a player may bet the amount of the big blind or more at any time.
In a spread limit game, the betting is unstructured, but there is an established upper betting limit as well as an established
lower betting limit. For instance, if the game is a $2-$10 spread limit, a player may bet any amount from $2 to $10 at any time.
