The above image is a screenshot of the general info tab on Poker Tracker. At a quick glance, you can gain a lot of
information just from this screen. As you can see in this picture, I have highlighted the screen name I used to
use on Party Poker. It shows that in the 30-60 game, I have played 4,958 hands and have won a little over 7k dollars.
It shows that I VP$IP (voluntarily put money into pot) 28.84% of the time. From the small blind, My VPIP is
around 32% and from the big blind it is about 43%. That piece of information is where a player can determine if their
opponent is the type of player that they play well against. If you play best in
loose games where there are a lot of
players seeing the flop then you would want opponents that have a high VP$IP. In Omaha, I would like to play players
that have a 30% VPIP or higher.
This page will also show your (or your opponent's) aggression factor. My preflop aggression factor on this page shows
1.05 and I raise 16.54% of the pots I enter. Once again, you can use this information to help you decide what opponents
you play best against and in turn, you will have better game selection.
